And that's a wrap for the FMA Victorian Branch Commitee for 2023!

Yesterday over forty members come together to reflect on the achievements of the Victorian Committee throughout the year at the Annual General Meeting. And it was a very impressive list with an event every month and many of them sold out, showing the topics are hitting the mark with our members and adding real value.

None of this would be possible without the commitment and dedication of the volunteer Branch Committee members. A massive thank you to all for another year of service to the Facility Management Association of Australia (FMA).


This year I would like do a special vote of thanks to those members who are stepping down from the committee. Thank you David Erczmann and Lana Rubinstein, who have both been active participants for the last few years.


An extra special thank you to Frank Jardim and Matt Marsh, who between them have provided over 20 years of support, mentorship and humour to the FMA Victorian Branch Committee. You will be sorely missed.


A shout out also to Lesley Vallance who has been the Chair and driving force behind the Committee for the last four years. While we are sad to see her stepping down from the role we are pleased she will remain on the committee and has handed over the reins to the very capable hands of Jodi Whelan. Congratulations Jodi! I look forward to working with you and the wider Committee throughout 2024.

And finally a massive thank you to the FMA National office team for their support throughout the year.


While that may be it for the FMA Victorian Branch Commitee for 2023, they have already planned out the events for 2024 and look forward to welcoming our members back with the Knowledge and Networking event in February. See you there!
