Slip, sliding and sustainable

This week Federation Square is the home to a giant and sustainable water slide. The water used on the slide is being recycled into the many water tanks hidden under the Square and will be used to water the garden and flush the toilets. So far we have recycled over 280,000 litres of water. This will provide over 20,000 toilet flushes and water the garden for 16 days. So bring on the hot weather!
